50 Year Pictorial History of an Unknown Woman

This photo set is very interesting… The site’s author says:

Yesterday at the flea market I picked up a small cosmetics case stuffed with photos almost all of which were of the same woman. The bulk of the photos were photobooths and portraits documenting her as she aged over the course of about 50 years or so.

This one particular photo I found to be phenomenally intriguing. I don’t know all the legal bullshit about linking directly to the photo, but this is it:

UPDATE: The site’s author posted some more information and photos here.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much more information about the photos to add- I got the photos at a flea market about 40 miles west of Chicago so she was probably from somewhere in the general Chicagoland vicinity. One thing I didn’t mention in the original post- in fact the thing I found the most interesting at the time- was that other than a few photos of a dog (which the dealer wanted to keep because the dog looked a lot like a dog he had once had) all of the photos were of just that same woman- no family members, no boyfriends, etc… appear in any of the photos (except for one guy in the background of one of the late polaroids) which is very unusual. I know the dealer didn’t go through them and seperate them out- he told me he hadn’t even looked at them and as he sold me the whole lot for 10 dollars I have no reason to doubt him.
